This is the sixth edition of CSA C22.2 No.100, Motor and generators, one of a series of Standards issued by the Canadian Standards Association under Part II of the Canadian Electrical Code. It supersedes the previous editions published in 1995, 1992, 1985, 1982, and 1974.smP安规与电磁兼容网
Significant changes from the previous edition are as follows:
(a) the addition of the construction requirements for two- and three-wire generator circuits in Clause 4.14; and
(b) an expansion of testing requirements in Clause 11.4.

The major changes in this edition are as follows:
(a) The terminology has been updated throughout the Standard to reflect definitions in the Canadian Electrical Code, Part I.
(b) The bonding impedance requirements for cord-connected equipment have been revised to recognize the 5-20RA-receptacle configuration permitted by the Canadian Electrical Code, Part I.
