Job Description:
Reliability Engineer (Shanghai Server R&D Center)

Position Description:
As a Reliability Engineer, you will be part of an exciting team developing, testing, and delivering products for Inventec's many kinds of servers. You major duties will be to serve as the reliability design, validation and analysis for server products and provide the support to external and internal customers, team members, and other persons during R&D phase.

Specific Job Responsibilities:
1.Create Reliability Plan for server platform in R&D phase, including resource allocations, validation schedule assumptions, and validation items scope based on Product Requirement Document (PRD).
2.Implement specific validation items in reliability plan with schedule. Flexible adjustment should be made based on issue occurring and debugging.
3.Report reliability execution progress and issues to the R&D team and track the issues from creation to closure.
4.Cooperate with R&D team and other test engineers on debugging, failure analysis and fixing issues discovered during test.
5.Evaluate and develop reliability test methodologies to reduce test time and increase test coverage.

Qualifications

Education:

B.S. or M.S. Electrical Engineering, Material Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related fields

Required Experience:
1.1 year’s minimum experience in reliability or Hardware test for PC/Server/Storage products or excellent fresh graduates with related knowledge.
2.In-depth system level understanding of Hardware and Software for PC/Server/Storage products.
3.Good understanding of the principles and basic structures of measuring instruments such as HALT, chamber, oscilloscopes, and multimeters etc.
4.Strong technical problem solving skills.
5.Strong team work spirit, team leader preferred.
6.Excellent bi-lingual (Chinese & English) written and verbal communication skills required.
7.Good ability in multi-task and handling a large number of tasks at once.
